Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mailgineer's email hosting and sending services. Please read them carefully — by creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By registering for, accessing, or using any part of Mailgineer (the "Service"), you enter into a binding agreement with Mailgineer ("we", "us", "our") and accept these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to both you and that organisation.

2. What Mailgineer provides

Mailgineer is an email hosting and sending platform. Depending on your plan, the Service includes mailboxes on your own domains, SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 access, webmail, aliases, forwarding, catch-all addresses, Sieve filters, automatic SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, and spam filtering.

We continually improve the Service and may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your current plan provides, we will give reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and mailboxes.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to hold an account.
  • Sharing a single account across unrelated parties, or reselling the Service without an authorised reseller agreement, is not permitted.

4. Plans, pricing, and billing

Prices, storage allowances, domain limits, and included features are listed on our pricing page and may change over time. Unless stated otherwise, plans are billed in advance for the term you select and renew automatically until cancelled.

  • You authorise us and our payment processors to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts due.
  • Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend or limit the affected services until payment is made.
  • You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Cancellations and refunds

We keep pricing low instead of funding free trials. We do not provide refunds for dissatisfaction or difficulty using the Service. If the Service is not for you, simply cancel — your plan will not renew, and you will retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Nothing in this section limits any refund right you may have under mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.

6. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary, you agree not to send unsolicited bulk email, not to use warm-up services or similar tools with your mailboxes, not to engage in account farming, and not to use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.

Violations may lead to rate limits, suspension, or termination of your account, and in serious cases to reporting to the relevant authorities.

7. Your content and data

You retain all rights to the messages, addresses, and other data you host with us ("Your Data"). You grant us the limited rights necessary to store, transmit, back up, and deliver Your Data so we can operate the Service.

We do not scan the content of your email for advertising and we do not sell your data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the lawful right to process the data you store and send through Mailgineer. You can export your data at any time and should keep your own backups of anything critical.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Mailgineer fast and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Where your plan includes an uptime commitment, the details and any credits are set out in your plan. Scheduled maintenance and events beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that email will always be delivered, received, or free of delay, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or if your use poses a risk to the platform or other customers. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will handle Your Data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
